Julie is a tireless, emotional and exciting character who challenges herself to this project in order to get herself back on her feet.


Some of the challenges she has to face while cooking from this book include boning a duck, trying an egg, which she never had before and preparing countless other interesting and strange meat dishes that she doesn't quite like the idea of. But the woman is driven, she continues cooking meat dish, vegetables, stews and desserts until she gets through the book. And along the way she writes in her blog and she accounts for every single step along the way. She faces spills, mental break downs, burnt food, unusual ingredients and strange smells but she does it and she produces a wonderful blog which is followed by hundreds and thousands of people from around the country. Eventually, we find out that she blog becomes a book which is then turned into the movie which we are currently discussing. "Julie and Julia" is a wonderful, heart felt and inspiring movie which should be seen by everyone. It gives inspiration, hope and even a sense of reality to individuals around the country.
